Dewan Atif Rashid
Managing Director
Atif started his career in the leather export industry in 1996 when he started working for Apex, Bangladesh’s leading leather goods manufacturer. He entered the furniture industry in 2003 through a project named “Design & Technology Centre for Product Development” funded by the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ). Since then, Atif has been working in his industry and had the privilege of helping many of the leading furniture manufacturers in Bangladesh.
Before starting Ayoto, Atif was working as the Business Development Advisor of HATIL, Bangladesh’s leading furniture brand. He was responsible for developing the export business model, marketing strategy, and ensuring the manufacturing practices required to cater to the external market.

In-House Design Team
Our inhouse design team employs a holistic approach, grounded in design thinking principles, to ensure that every piece of furniture we create meets the diverse requirements, contexts, and tastes of our users. Every design that is crafted goes through an iterative process, where the finest details - from the choice of materials and colors to the ergonomics and practicality of the piece is considered.
They meticulously research the latest trends, cultural influences, and lifestyle preferences to ensure that our designs not only cater to the functional needs of our users but also resonate with their style. The team understands that furniture is not just about utility; it's about enhancing the overall ambiance of a space.
There are 6 people in our design team, with 4 architects with cumulative experience of 50 years of furniture designing.
